Learn / Setup recipes
Start with the equipment you own.
Build a setup brief for Claude or Codex. Each recipe starts with discovery, asks for approval before changes, and ends with checks and a current handoff.
Choose your next step
Follow these in order, or choose the task you need. You can leave equipment details unknown.
- 01Inventory my equipmentFind out what you own and which facts a local AI plan still needs.
- 02Choose a model and runtimeCompare a few candidates against your task, memory, and operating system.
- 03Set up local inferencePlan an installation, test a small model, and check where data goes.
- 04Configure storage and test a restoreProtect useful files and prove you can recover a disposable sample.
- 05Document my setupCreate a useful handoff for troubleshooting and future changes.
How to use a recipe
- Choose a recipe and describe your existing equipment. Exact models help, but guesses do not.
- Choose interactive chat or an agent with explicitly authorized local access.
- Review and copy the prompt, or download a Markdown handoff. Review everything before giving it to your assistant.
- Confirm the plan before making changes. Record what was actually checked.
Equipment fields stay in the current browser tab. This tool does not inspect your device, contact an AI service, save your profile, or add you to a mailing list. Your chosen assistant provider receives only what you decide to share with it.
